About my fundraising
On Sunday 26th April 2009 Rev. Simon Goddard ran the London Marathon. Thanks to everyone for your support. I finished in 4:50:55 which was a bit slower than I'd hoped, but it was quite hot (the sunburn on my neck and shoulders is more painful than my legs)! I did run all the way, however, so I am very pleased about that. It was so good crossing the finish line - the photo shows me grinning as I finish... NOTE: the clerical collar was generously provided by www.clergycollar.co.uk.
