Sam's year of awesomeness

This year I'm pushing myself beyond my limits as I take part in not 1 or 2 but a whole host of sporting challenges. And it's all to raise money for the West Wight Sports & Community Centre.

The Centre means a massive amount to me. I learnt to swim here as a kid, and over the last few years it has helped me achieve a lot of firsts, including swimming the Solent, climbing the 3 Peaks, doing a triathlon, Chilly Hilly XC race.

The Centre is at the heart of the West Wight community. It has something for everyone. Young and old. Fitness freaks and first timers who are inspired to get up off the sofa.

But it is facing a huge financial challenge, as it needs to fill a £150,000 gap in its funding every year.
So to help them stay open I am challenging myself to do a couple of little events including:
Brighton Marathon
Southampton Marathon
Solent Swim
West Wight Triathlon
WWSCC Quadrathon
Chilly Hilly
Isle of Wight Festival of Running
And probably a couple more I haven't thought of it.

So please give generously because I think it's pretty impressive and it would be pants if I didn't raise any money for all the blood, sweat and tears that will be shed........
