About my fundraising
Ongoing fundraising page for the CF trust in aid of my daughter Scarlett Elizabeth Thornton-Timperley who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis on the 5th May 2011 at just 3 weeks old. Along with the thousands of other people affected by Cystic Fibrosis in the U.K. little Scarlett's daily routine consists of a mixture of antibiotics & physiotherapy which are a necessity to keep her healthy and strong.
Cystic Fibrosis is a disease that affects the internal organs, especially the lungs and digestive system, by clogging them with thick sticky mucus. This makes it hard to breathe and digest food. It affects over 9,000 people in the UK alone and as it stands at the moment there is currently no cure.
