About Saras Hope Foundation
Saras Hope Foundation raises funds to manage a holiday retreat on the island of Crete for children living with cancer. The charity was inspired by Sara Hoburn who tragically passed away with an extremely rare form of colon cancer at the age of 16 in 2001.Sara's Retreat is set in beautiful surroundings and within close proximity of a modern hospital providing specialist care to children living with cancer. This property has been available on a lease basis to Saras Hope Foundation since April 2011 and we welcomed our first family to the island in June 2011. Our intention in the longer term is to buy the property to enable us to offer family breaks on a permanent basis.

£200 One return flight from the UK to Crete £500 Will provide children's entertainment facilities. £1,000 One family return flight from the UK to Crete. £2,500 Will build a children's playground at the retreat. £5,000 (and upwards) will contribute towards the purchase of the retreat.
