About Sara's Hope Foundation
We aim to raise the funds to build and run a holiday retreat on the island of Crete for children from the North East who have been diagnosed with cancer.The charity was inspired by Sara Hoburn who tragically passed away with an extremely rare form of colon cancer at the age of 16 in 2001.Once the retreat is complete we aim to fly the child and their family to the island and provide 24 hr practical and emotional care - we believe in giving the child and their family`smiles,hope and precious memories`
