About my fundraising
At the Sanctuary Placement Centre, Igisu-Nou, near Medias in Transylvania a charity bikeathon will take place on Friday 17th February 2012 Twenty four participants will all complete an hour each on a static bike, begining at 5pm on the start date for 24 hours. The Sanctuary provides a home to orphaned and abandoned children and teenagers infected with HIV or whose lives have been affected by the virus. The house also has a respite, daycare and home care support programme and provides services in the areas of Medias, Sigisoara and Tirgu Mures. Love Light Romania has been established in Transylvania for almost twelve years. The Charity Bikeathon will raise funds for the day to day running of the Sanctuary.
