About my fundraising
Sana and Ruth from Brunel University are running the London 10k on 8th July 2012 to raise money for the UK Haemochromatosis Society. Haemochoromatosis is now recognised as being one of the most common genetic disorders with around 1 in 400 people in the UK affected. It is a genetic condition in which a person has too much iron in the blood, this damages organs and causes a variety of diseases; if left untreated it can be fatal. We hope to raise money for the charity but also raise awareness of this condition. Many thanks for your support!
