About my fundraising
On April 22 I will be taking to the streets to run the London Marathon. My goal, to finish in under 3hrs, and raise £2,000 for Freightliners City Farm along the way - and you guessed it I need your help to get there.
Located in one of London's poorest boroughs and with their unique 'no slaughter' policy the farm is a tranquil haven for many rare breeds and provides an educational and recreational resource for all members of the local North London community. They also provide opportunities for visitors to learn from and interact with the environment and each other through animal care, horticulture and sustainable practices.
The hard working folk and their animals at Freightliners need some help though. Relying on fundraising to generate enough income to keep them going is a constant challenge and... well Bluebell the goat would just really like a pedicure and Tina the pig has one hell of an appetite!
