Paris Marathon

Hi!

My name is Jaime and I am proud to be running 26.2 miles across Paris in April to support the fantastic Danaher Animal Home in Wethersfield.

The shelter is a place which is very close to my heart due to links through co-hosting the Saturday morning Pet Stop Show on 107.4 Leisure FM where we feature different Cats, Dogs and small animals each week who are in search of their forever home.

My family and I are also doting owners to three adorable male guinea pigs who we adopted from the centre last year!

The Danaher Animal Home is an independent charity which is affiliated to and works closely with the RSPCA but is entirely self funding. Every penny raised counts towards enabling this vital facility to stay open and it's tireless and devoted work in re-homing unwanted, sick and injured animals.

Last year it was hit by an outbreak of ringworm which cost tens of thousands of pounds in vets charges and other related costs - so the raising of extra funds is more crucial now than ever.

I aim to raise £500 for Danaher, along with awareness of some of the other ways in which people can support this amazing and much needed facility.
