About my fundraising
Hello everyone!
On the 13 May I will be running the Chester Half Marathon in aid of Northern Lights.
Northern Lights have been fund raising to send seriously ill children to Lapland since 1987. These children are suffering from life threatening illnesses and are aged between 6 and 11. They visit Lapland for a 4 or 5 day holiday and meet Santa, as well as riding with husky dogs, visiting reindeers, having a try on a snow mobile and completing an Arctic Circle crossing ceremony.
All money raised will allow Northern Lights to take more children on this holiday of a lifetime in December 2012 to celebrate their 25th Anniversary.
This will be my first half marathon (God help me!), and any support would me very much appreciated in aid of this incredibly worthy cause.
