I Love Rotherham is a campaign to encourage local people to work together to tackle the issues that matter most in local communities.

Money raised in Rotherham stays in Rotherham

Donations will be used to support our work with community and voluntary groups in Rotherham who are best placed at tackling local issues. As these groups are mainly run by volunteers the majority of money goes on addressing local issues, rather than on wages.

The 'I Love Rotherham' campaign gives businesses and individuals the opportunity to make a real difference to the area by tackling local issues at a grassroots level. In addition to donating money we will encourage businesses and individuals to think innovatively about how they can provide assistance to communities in need.

This might include a business providing a team to assist with a community project, providing spare meeting rooms for groups or assisting a group with book keeping.

We have already hit the endowment challenge targets for Rotherham, so £1 for £1 match funding is no longer available on donations. Together we have raised £667,788 (between September 2008 - 31st March 2011) this money will provide long term grant making to support local groups.

Because we love Rotherham, we lobbied and campaigned to secure an additional £168,844 to support local groups. Securing this additional funding would not have been possible without the support of our key partners.
