About Rosendale Allotment Association
Rosendale Allotments were established in 1908 on an 18 acre site owned by Dulwich Estate on Knights Hill between Herne Hill and Tulse Hill in South London. There are 480 plots cultivated by around 500 members. The Association and site is run by a small voluntary committee who are working hard to improve the use of the allotments and develop the amenities on behalf of the members. The sole income source for the site is the annual allotment rents and one off membership fees, the majority of which is used for Dulwich Estate rent and water rates. After statutory and financial fees the committee have less than £2,000 a year to develop this huge allotment site.
