i am running the edinburgh marathon on may 23rd 2010 to raise funds for the jct childrens foundation. This charity was set up in 2000 when my good friend Emlyn John was travelling through the tanzanian border and was invited to visit a local village in malawi by a local pastor. On that visit Emlyn's eyes were opened to the malnutrition,malaria,typhoid,hiv/aids and other diseases that were affecting the children of Malawi. The main objective of the charity is to alleviate the poverty of orphaned children within the different communities of Malawi by enabling them to build a sustainable future for themselves.

Different projects will improve health and medical treatment for children, and to enhance education standards,habitat,agriculture and livlihood solutions to improve long term impact on the deprived lives of these children.
