About my fundraising
19 year old Reamonn Gormley was tragically murdered in Blantyre on Tuesday 1st February, while walking home from a local pub, after watching his beloved Celtic's victory over Aberdeen.
During his gap year between School and University, Reamonn taught English to children in Thailand at the Good Child Foundation. This charity has challenged traditional thoughts on inclusive education and is the only school offering placements to children of all ages and abilities including pupils with Downs Syndrome.
In memory of Reamonn, a group of Celtic supporters from Celtic Quick News and other prominent supporter websites set up this fundraising page under the banner of 'Remembering Reamonn Gormley', to raise funds for the Good Child Foundation.
Since then the level of support has been absolutely incredible and very humbling. So much so that the Good Child Foundation has requested that we keep the page open until February 2012. All funds raised will go towards the construc...
