About Refugee Action
Refugee Action is an independent national charity that works with refugees to build new lives in the UK. We help people who have fled persecution and human rights violations in their home countries and have left to seek safety.
We provide advice and support to asylum seekers and refugees in the North West, the Midlands, London, South West and South Central.
Funds raised may be used to ...
£25 can help provide face-to-face advice to help vulnerable refugee women understand their rights and entitlements. £50 can help pay for a couple of nights' shelter for a particularly vulnerable asylum seeker e.g. someone pregnant or disabled, who is not allowed to work and has no means of support. £100 could pay for young refugees in the UK on their own, to participate in classes to improve their life skills like learning to cook, managing money and understanding personal safety.
