About Pulmonary Hypertension Association UK
Pulmonary hypertension is a rare blood vessel disorder of the lung in which the pressure in the pulmonary artery (the blood vessel that leads from the heart to the lungs) rises above normal levels and may become life threatening. The Pulmonary Hypertension Association UK aims to provide support, understanding, and information for all those people whose lives are touched by Pulmonary Hypertension. By bringing people together, and providing a focus for everyone throughout the UK and around the world, the Association aims to make the lives of patients, relatives and carers easier and more able to cope with the challenges that Pulmonary Hypertension imposes.
