About my fundraising
I have run many charity runs for Martin House, Children's Hospice in Wetherby in past. These runs have included Leeds 10 Km run for 3 yrs between 2007 and 2009, and Great North Run (half marathon) in September 2007.
This time I was contacted by the fundraising section of the BSG. I completed the 10 Km run on 27 May 2012, on same route as the one for London Olympics Marathon. I timed 56 minutes. Getting old now and slowing down.
CORE is a charity working in association with British Society of Gastroenterology, raising money for prevention and research into treatment of colorectal cancers. CORE supports the research by sponsoring researchers.
