About my fundraising

I am running the Great Manchester 10K to raise money for Beacon Counselling. I have volunteered with Beacon for 5 years - as a receptionist and then for the past 2 years as a counsellor.

Beacon provides counselling to adults, children and young people in Stockport and Greater Manchester. It costs around £35 to provide a counselling session at Beacon and we rely heavily on client donations and fundraising. Please visit http://www.beacon-counselling.org.uk/ for more information.

I have never done a run before so this is a personal challenge for me as well as an opportunity to support Beacon.
