About my fundraising
I am running the London Marathon raising Money for a small charity (Neros Foundation) that works in a remote Island of Indonesia. They have a great (successful) story working with communities on joint projects in on the Island of Flores (Indonesia), which are then managed by local people.
The charity is embarking on its biggest challenge to date and with 100% local resident and government support, as plans to build a primary care clinic in a rural part of this location. .......we need to raise 30k by this summer...so this is a real challenge.
I have known one of the Trustees for over 20 years, the ethos of the charity means that there is no waste, no corruption and the money raised will go to those that need it.
This is a project that will really make a difference to local people in the Island of Flores so running 26.2 miles across the streets of london will be a little sacrifice for a great cause- Please give generously.
