About PF Counselling Service
The PF Counselling Service provides counselling and psychotherapy for people facing the difficulties of everyday life.
It was was established in 1986 and our vision is to enable people to embrace life more fully through the growth, changes and healing that can take place through the counselling process.
We offer a professional service to individuals and couples over the age of 18 regardless of their ability to pay, with clients contributing what they can afford.
All our counsellors are volunteers who are either professionally qualified or in the final stages of their training. They give an average of three hours a week to see clients, as well as participating in supervision and training.
The formal name of the PF is the 'Pastoral Foundation'. It is a registered Scottish charity (SCO0875) and a company limited by guarantee.
