Peter's Marathon Des Sables challenge

Hi everyone...so Fishcakes has managed to get place a place in April 2018 to run the Marathon Des Sables (marathon of the sands). This is an ultramarathon, multi stage race over 6 days and the distance is approx 254 km across the Sahara desert, carrying my own gear (about six regular marathons back to back). It's been called the 'toughest foot race on earth' so I'll see how I get on. 🙈 I am putting this out now as I am doing this for charity so I am after your sponsorship dough....my chosen charity for this is the Special Care Baby Unit in the Isle of Man (where I live) so here is my sponsorship page. This trip is entirely funded by myself so all sponsorship will be going to the SCBU. My target is £5k.
