About my fundraising
On Sunday, 6th September I will be running my very first 5k race in Hyde park. It was a late decision to collect sponsorship but I have chosen Diabetes UK to be my worthy cause as this condition is one which has touched several members of my family.
There are currently 2.3 million people diagnosed with diabetes and more than half a million people are unaware they have the condition. If you aren?t directly affected by the condition, you probably know someone who is. Diabetes UK is the largest organisation in the UK working for people with diabetes, funding research, campaigning and helping people live with the condition.
