NRAS is the only patient-led charity in the UK for people with Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) and their peers. We offer information and support on our helpline, campaign in Parliament for better services, fundraise, & run support groups across the UK

- £20 pays for a complex helpline call/email, research and tailored follow up - £50 funds the production of an information toolkit for a volunteer - £120 funds a resource pack for health professionals to provide patient support - £500 funds the setting up of an NRAS group in the UK - £880 pays for an average month's mailing of requested information leaflets - 2,000 pays to run an information day

THE OBJECTS OF THE CHARITY ('THE OBJECTS') ARE, FOR THE PUBLIC BENEFIT, TO PROMOTE THE RELIEF OF PEOPLE SUFFERING FROM RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS BY:
1 RAISING AWARENESS AND UNDERSTANDING OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, INCLUDING AWARENESS OF THE SEVERITY OF THE DISEASE AND ITS SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC COSTS;
2 PROVIDING INFORMATION ON RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, INCLUDING INFORMATION ON THE TREATMENTS AND DRUGS AVAILABLE;
3 ADVANCING ALL ASPECTS OF THE CARE AND TREATMENT OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS AND THE MANAGEMENT OF THIS DISEASE IN ITS TOTALITY;
4 PROVIDING EDUCATION GENERALLY AND TO INDIVIDUALS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS IN ALL ASPECTS OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS, INCLUDING ITS TREATMENT AND MANAGEMENT, AND PROVIDING INFORMATION ABOUT AVAILABLE SUPPORT, INCLUDING FINANCIAL AND SOCIAL SUPPORT;
5 SUPPORTING INDIVIDUALS IN RELATION TO RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS AND THEIR FAMILIES AND CARERS, INCLUDING BY PUTTING PEOPLE IN TOUCH WITH EACH OTHER TO ENCOURAGE SELF-HELP AND SUPPORT WHERE APPROPRIATE;
