Thank you for all your donations.

I am running the Brighton Marathon on Sunday 6 April 2014 for THE TOFTA EDUCATIONAL TRUST, which is a UK charity supporting the education of children in UGANDA, Kenya and other East African countries.

In particular the charity supports students of LORDS MEADE VOCATIONAL COLLEGE, Njeru, Uganda - lordsmeade.org - a school founded by a family friend of mine, JOHN KIRKWOOD.

Here is the school's facebook page, on which you will see lots more information about the school and its founder facebook.com/lordsmeadecollege

Do read this article about the school and this charity:
monitor.co.ug/Magazines/Life/His-dream-drove-him-from-UK-to-Uganda/-/689856/1675610/-/a50iif/-/index.html

Your donations will go towards the education of children, perhaps orphans who are supporting their own siblings.

Another friend of mine, who was born in Uganda, has visited the school and has confirmed to me that this is a very worthwhile cause and a great way to support African communities.

Your donations will be well spent.

Thank you so much for your support.

Thank you for checking out my page. Making a donation is fast, easy and secure thanks to Give as you Live Donate. They'll take your donation and pass it onto The Tofta Educational Trust.
