About my fundraising
Nat Perez, a South African living in the UK will be taking part in the Cape Argus Cycle Tour to raise funds for Community H.E.A.R.T. and the work we support in South Africa. He is the Chair of the Board and over the years has raised funds for our projects. At 75, a keen cyclist, he has used his skills to support the development of his home country. In these times of hardship Community H.E.A.R.T. needs every penny it can raise.
'The Argus Pick 'n Pay' cycle tour is 110k or 60m around the beautiful Cape Peninsula, bounded by Table Mountain and the two oceans. It is the biggest individually timed tour in the world attracting 30,000 to 35,000 cyclists.....Thank you Marie George and Elsa for the £30 donated.
The Argus day brought beautiful weather. My group started at 8.35. Temperatures rose to 40+. On one steep climb 'Chapman's Peak' Cyclists were ordered to dismount and push their cycles. I took more than an hour longer to complete the 'Tour' than last year. I made sure that I enjoyed th...
