About my fundraising
I am doing a skydive for Mercia MS Therapy Centre on 23rd June to help raise money for a local charity supporting people with Multiple Sclerosis.
Mercia MS Therapy centre is an independent, registered local charity, providing therapies and support for MS sufferers and those close to them. Although there is no cure for MS at present, much can be done to help improve the quality of life of those with MS, and to help restore independence. The centre offers a range of therapies including physiotherapy, counselling, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, yoga, acupuncture, reflexology, massage, osteomyology, podiatry, viofor magnatherapy and infrared detoxification.
Having worked with those with Multiple Sclerosis, I am aware of the implications that progression of symptoms can have on lifestyle, self-esteem and independence, therefore I am trying to do my bit to provide an improved quality of life for those living with the disease and their loved ones.
