About my fundraising

Cycling 2100 miles over 12 months may not sound like a huge challenge, but for someone who works full time and has a mental health disability it is not a guarenteed success. I aim to do this to show disabilities can be a positive thing - challenging us to move forward. Through sponsorship, donations, events and sales I also aim to raise £2100 for MIND - a charity that helps those who experience mental health issues, whether as a carer, an employer, colleague, relative, friend or someone who lives with the issues personally. This year (September) my daughter is 21 years - for 21 years she has lived with my mental health disability. She has helped motivate me to walk the wall of china, cycle from london to paris, absail down a cathedral, get a degree, learn to drive........ because I did not want her to ever think that a mental health problem was something to be scared or ashamed of. Therefore, to celebrate those 21 years, we have a target of 2100 miles and £2100. Please support us......more more

P.S. When you make a donation, don't forget to check the Gift Aid box if you're a UK taxpayer as then your charity can claim an extra 25% from the government!
