About Migraine Action
Migraine Action is the UK's leading charity dedicated to individuals affected by migraine. We aim to raise awareness of migraine, support research, and offer advice and information to migraineurs, their families, friends and colleagues, healthcare professionals and the general public.
More than nine million people in the UK are affected by migraine with more than 100,000 people missing work or school every day. Migraine Action is a charity that has existed for more than 50 years and is dedicated to providing support for migraineurs and their families. The World Health Organisation has classified migraine as one of the top 20 most disabling conditions and yet it is still an illness that people suffer in silence. The disabling headaches can leave a sufferer with symptoms similar to a hangover for hours, even days. This includes nausea, vomiting and sensitivity to light and sound.
