About my fundraising
In a moment of madness last year I decided to take on a challenge in 2012 so in April I will be taking part in the Marathon des Sables in Morocco. Over 6 days I will run, walk and probably crawl over 156 miles of the Sahara. Those of you who know about my fear of flying will realise that getting there on my own will be a mini challenge in itself.
It seems silly not to take the opportunity to raise funds for a worthy cause so I am in fact raising funds for two charities East Anglia's Children's Hospices which supports families and cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk and Hope 4 China which is dedicated to raising awareness of and funds for children in orphanages and girls from poor rural areas in China with little hope of a formal education.
