About Meningitis Trust
The Meningitis Trust improves the lives of people affected by meningitis & septicaemia. We are the only provider of a range of professional meningitis support and aftercare services in the UK, helping thousands of people every year whose lives have been devastated by this dreadful disease.
We are a source of knowledge, expertise, security and consideration for those whose lives will never be the same again; helping them to take control of their future.
We also raise awareness of meningitis and septicemia, through specialist knowledge, education and training.

fund all of our professional services, including our 24 hour nurse helpline, home visits by qualified nurses & counsellors, financial grants, professional counselling, art therapy and much more. Our professional services and community based support help people to rebuild their lives after meningitis has struck.

B. TO UNDERTAKE AND FUND RESEARCH INTO ALL STRAINS OF MENINGITIS WHETHER VIRAL OR BACTERIAL OR SEPTICAEMIA AND TO PUBLISH, ASSIST WITH, AND/OR FUND THE PUBLICATION AND DISSEMINATION OF THE USEFUL RESULTS THEREOF. C. TO WORK TOWARDS THE ELIMINATION OF MENINGITIS AS A SERIOUS MEDICAL PROBLEM. D. TO PROVIDE SUPPORT TO PEOPLE WHO SUFFER MENINGITIS OR SEPTICAEMIA AND THEIR IMMEDIATE FAMILIES, GUARDIANS OR PARTNERS.
