About my fundraising
Hi Everyone. For some insane reason I have decided to run the Man Vs Horse Marathon on 12th June 2010 in Aid of Lluest Horse and Pony Trust. The Man vs Horse race is a 22mile cross country run against horses!! I was going to be doing it on my horse but as he broke his leg he won't be fit enough so I have decided I will run it on my own legs!
Lluest is a small charity based in Carmarthenshire, Wales which rescues horses, ponies and donkeys, which have been neglected or ill-treated. The charity aims to rehabilitate the horses, ponies and donkeys Lluest rescues and find them appropriate loving loan homes where possible, however if any of the horses, ponies or donkeys cannot be fostered out, there is always a place for them at the farm. Lluest also campaigns to improve conditions at horse sales and generally improve public knowledge of equine welfare. I have been a supporter of Lluest most of my life and my first pony, Davy, was a Lluest pony rescued from the meat trade as a foal. ...
