About Manchester Aid to Kosovo
Manchester Aid to Kosovo (MaK) has been active in Kosovo and the UK since 1999. We are a small charity which formed in March '99. MaK is staffed 100% by unpaid volunteers. We continue to support those from Kosovo who are recovering in Manchester. Children medically evacuated here remain central to all our work. MaK is working in partnership with the Municipality of Podujeve to create the Manchester Peace Park in Kosovo. The Peace Park will provide safe play, sports facilities, a playground and a garden of reflection and remembrance, to serve the need of the whole community.
