About my fundraising
My latest challenge planned for September includes a hike down a mountain, which will take one day, plus a 35 kilometer off road drive to find the flooded village of Bezid in the county of Tirgu Mures in Romania. I am looking for people who would like to join me in this sponsored challenge. Day one of the challenge will begin on 30th September at Voineasa then we shall proceed to the top of a mountain and we shall hike 15 miles down to Sadu. We can hike at our own pace and we shall have 4x4 back-up. The off-road part of the challenge will take place on 2nd October and begin at Albest, taking us off road through the forest to the flooded village at Bezid, where only the church can be seen at the lake. This part of the challenge will be a 23 mile drive through forest and will be a day event.
