About my fundraising

To my lovely family and wonderful friends, all of whom I'm sure would like to see less of me, I have decided to do a sponsored weight loss to raise money for Invest in M.E.'s centre of excellence, which will carry out bio medical research for the treatment of M.E.

The good news is that I have lost 12lbs already, but need to lose another stone, which believe me isn't easy when you cannot exercise and you're feeling so weak that your body wants to eat. The weight loss has been going reasonably well since the start of June, however I seem to have come to a stand still over the last few weeks. It would be a great incentive to know that family and friends support me in this and help raise funds for a much needed centre, the first of its kind in Europe.

There are around 250,000 sufferers in the U.K. including many children and teens, up to 25% of the total figure are severely affected. Thank you, your support means so much to me and thousands of sufferers and their families.
