About my fundraising
Hi, I'm Lisa Thompson, Chief Executive of the Rape and Sexual Violence Project (RSVP), a charity covering Birmingham and Solihull. We support people affected by sexual violence and abuse. On 22nd September 2012 I ran the JW Ultra, a 30 mile run along the canal from Stratford to Bournville. AND just 4 weeks after my ultra, on Sunday 21st October, I also ran 13.1 miles at the Great Birmingham Run-Half Marathon.
So I have now run 43.1 miles, to raise money for RSVP's empathic, professional and compassionate support services. Can you give a few pounds to help people live a confidence with future, after sexual abuse? Every penny you donate will help.
