About my fundraising
Hi all.
I have decided to sponsor my weightloss journey to raise money for a fantastic cause. Invest in M.E's goal is to establish a UK centre for bio medical M.E research and treatment, based at the university of East Anglia in Norwich UK.
There are around 250,000 M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis also known as post viral and chronic fatigue syndrome) sufferers in the UK including many children and teens, up to 25% of the total figure are severly affected. Some of you may already have family or friends who are affected by this disease or may even be a sufferer yourself.
So here's me doing my bit.
It is very difficult to lose weight while you are not allowed to exercise, but with the help of the cambridge diet team I have confidence I will reach this goal of 3 stone in weightloss.
It would be a great incentive also to know that my family and friends are supporting me in this and helping in raising funds for a much needed research centre, the first of its kind in Europe.
