About my fundraising
11 men & 1 woman from the world's first ever rugby club for gay/bi men battle the mountains, and the elements, to hike across the top of 15 mountains over 3000 feet in Snowdonia. The challenge is being undertaken to raise money for the club's charity "Broken Rainbow UK".
The 26 miles of rugged mountains needs to be completed within 24 hours, for the challenge to be deemed a success, though the team is confidant of completing the course within 16 hours.
Broken Rainbow UK is the only National LGBT Domestic Violence Helpline providing confidential support to all members of the LGBT communities, their family & friends, and agencies supporting them.
