Kevin's Solent Swim - Mainland to IOW July 2014

As you have arrived here on my page, it means you are thinking of parting with some of your hard earned cash and sponsoring me. Many thanks for that!

Funds raised will go to two charities:
First: At least £250 will go to the "West Wight Sports Centre".
Second: The Multiple Sclerosis Trust

You will have heard of the MS charity, but
I know the West Wight Sports Centre won't mean much to those from outside the IOW. This is a charitable trust who provide a much needed facility in the West Wight.
The centre is a well used hub of the West Wight community. They rely on public donations to enable them to continue their work. I am pleased to help raise some money on their behalf.

I have lost count of the times I have crossed the Solent over the last thirty or so years, but every time I have looked out from the ferry, I have thought the swim looks just about "do-able" for me. At last the opportunity has come up to have a go - and raise some charity funds at the same time.
