About my fundraising
Our abseil has now been rescheduled for 13th October at 3pm. This will be held at Epsom Racecourse - Queens Stand which is 90 ft in height ! (as if the original 70 ft of Crawley Hospital wasn't scary enough). Myself and Annie Sweetapple will be participating in this with even more enthusiasm & determination than before at Crawley Hospital (nervous cough) in the memory of GERTIE PAINTER as this was her favourite abseil venue. I just hope that I have her bravery & attitude when it comes to crunch !!
This is to raise money for a charity that supports blind and partially sighted people and is based in West Sussex. Click on their link for further information......
If its any consolation, it was not an easy decision for me to agree do this and yes, I will be petrified!! not of falling but of hyper-ventalating & having a panic attack half way down !! who will save me & come to my rescue ?!
