Lands End to John O groats cycle ride

I am cycling 979 miles in 9 days this September from Lands End to John O Groats to raise much needed funds for the Walsall and district Samaritans who have been helping the people of Walsall and the surrounding district for over 45 years. The branch is entirely run by trained unpaid volunteers and has to raise its own funds to cover running costs. My mother Juliet Woodhall has been a volunteer for the Walsall Samaritans for over 20 years, so the charity is close to my heart. As well as being a great challenge, it gives me the chance to raise much needed funds for such a wothwhile cause and such dedicated volunteers.
