About my fundraising
I will running in The Great Scottish Run half marathon on Sunday 2nd September this year. I taking part in this to raise funds for the very deserving chairty So Precious. So Precious is a charity which raises funds for Neonatal Services in the Forth Valley area. The reason I am doing this is really as a way to say thank you, as many of you will be aware my sister in law (and best friend!) Steph gave birth to my beautiful baby niece Aimee eleven weeks early on April 25th this year weighing a tiny 2lb 15oz. Baby Aimee is still in the Neonatal Unit in Forth Valley Royal Hospital and is doing very well. Both Aimee and her Mummy and Daddy have recieved the most wonderful care from all the staff in the unit and I can't think of a better way to say thank you than to raise some much needed funds to allow the charity to continue to provide the support they give to the unit.
