About my fundraising
Every year I think it is a good idea to run the Great Manchester Run, that is until about a week before, and then I wonder why I'm doing it again! This year my nominated charity is SPARC (Stockport Progress and Recovery Centre), a local day centre for people with Mental Health needs. SPARC provide a vast array of activities on a shoestring budget, their determination and lively spirit brings much needed respite for those who are struggling to cope with day to day living. It is a bright and sunny place to be with lots going on. I have been training with the dogs as much as I can, but I doubt I'll be breaking any records! My daughter Naomi runs with me to help spur me on, and is definitely the better looking one on the video!
