Running the Edinburgh Marathon for Safe Anaestheisa Worldwide

Welcome and thank you for visiting my fundraising page.
Every journey begins with a single step and mine starts here! I've pledged to run the Edinburgh Marathon on Sunday 28th May 2017 and to raise funds for a charity close to my heart, Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide.

My work now takes me to hospitals in poor countries and I have witnessed at first hand the vast inequalities in health care around the globe. Incredibly, 5 billion people lack access to surgery and anaesthesia, most of them in the developing world. The charity Safe Anaesthesia Worldwide works to change this by supplying equipment and training to ensure patients get the treatments they need, preventing suffering and saving lives.
