About my fundraising
Three (slightly crazy) Jesters, Lee Wilson, Andy Lane and Claire Jennings along with Riccardo and Ashley Farrugia are attempting the three lakes challenge between 26th - 28th August 2011.
The challenge is to dive the three highest lakes in the UK mainland in 24 hours. To get a flavour of this challenge please follow the below youtube link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EgYeoOeA07Q
In short we will each carry a basic SCUBA kit up each mountain, dive the lake (Loch Coire an Lochan, Cairngorms, Red Tarn - Lake District, Ffynnon Lloer - North Wales) and then carry the kit back down (I personally feel tired just thinking about it!).
There will be a slight variation to the youtube clip in that we will be starting the clock from the waters edge of dive one and stopping it on surfacing after dive three - we might be relatively fit but we are not THAT hardcore!
