In October I will be attempting to run 13.1 miles for Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF) A charity dedicated to improving the ways of managing Type One Diabetes by driving the breakthroughs that will ultimately lead to finding a cure, they offer help and support to people living with Type 1 Diabetes.

For those not aware it will be nearly 2 years ago on the day of the run, that I was diagnosed with Diabetes, something that came as a big shock and something I thought would drastically alter my life.

I am doing this run as a way of helping others in my situation, to show that it is not something that should prevent you living a less than normal life, and show that while Diabetes isn't yet curable, it is manageable and shouldn't stop you doing anything.
