About my fundraising
Imagine how terrifying it would be leaving your house for the first time if you have lost your sight; many people become virtual prisoners in their own home. This is why i'm raising vital funds for Sight Concern - they help people to take those terrifying first steps to freedom & give them the support to regain their independence.
Mrs A hadn't stepped outside her house for years, she was quite simply terrified.
Thanks to Sight Concern she now looks forward to her trips out with her support worker & her confidence is growing with every trip. Sight Concern Worcestershire supports around 2,500 blind & partially sighted people across our county.
On Thursday 21st June i'm 1 of 4 local business people to arrested, handcuffed, finger printed and imprisoned outside the front of the Guild Hall in Worcester High Street to raise money for sight concern Worcestershire for the crime of wearing flip-flops all year round.
