About Invest in ME

We are an independent UK charity campaigning for bio-medical research into Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (M.E.), as defined by WHO-ICD-10-G93.3. We have links nationwide and also internationally via our membership of the European ME Alliance.

Our aim is to bring together like-minded individuals and groups to campaign for research and funding to establish an understanding of the aetiology, pathogenesis and epidemiology of M.E. This should lead to the development of a universal test for diagnosis of M.E. and, subsequently, medical treatments to cure or alleviate the effects of the disease.

The Invest in ME Biomedical Research Fund This will be used for the following - * Biomedical Research into ME * Education Regarding ME * Conferences related to ME * Expenses in Sponsoring Presenters to Speak at Conferences * Cost of sponsoring PhD students performing biomedical research into ME * Set up and running of ME Clinic treating severely affected patients with ME * Assisting with equipment and other costs of researchers performing purely biomedical research into ME If you would like to help in raising funds please contact us.
