About my fundraising
I will be riding 310km, all off road, across Scotland coast to coast with my mate Allan Derrick, going from Fort William in the west to Montrose in the east. During the trip we will be climbing over the Corrieyairack Pass and the munro Mount Keen complete with mountain bikes. It should take us 6 days to complete. Both of us, like many people, have first hand experience of friends and family who have suffered at the hands of cancer. We are doing this cycle to raise funds to assist in the constant battle to fund better treatment for all cancers and related illnesses. The Tommy Burns Skin Cancer Trust is currently in its infancy and is presently kindly coordinated by the Celtic charity fund who will add a donation of 25% to the final sum that we raise.
