We would like to send out an urgent appeal to raise some much-needed funds to pay for a life-saving operation for a little rescue dog with medical problems. Honey is a lovely three-year-old Chow Chow who had a very bad start in life and we all feel very sorry for her. She was very thin when she first came in but she is being cared for and has been slowly putting on weight and she is already looking much better. She has a long-term health issue of hypothyroidism but this is easily treated and quite a common hormonal disorder. Luckily we have found some loving owners to give her the special home she needs, but she has just had a hernia repaired and she now needs another operation. She has got hip dysplasia and it is vital she receives specialist surgery to repair her hip. We desperately want to save this little dog who deserves a chance to live life to the full but we really need help from the public please. The new owners are contributing towards the cost of her surgery and Danaher are waiving the adoption fee to help with the costs but we still have a long way to go to raise the total amount. Our vet has forewarned us that the operation will cost us over £1,000. To date, we have raised £220 towards this sum. This surgery will give her enjoyment of life and Honey needs a lot of love and care to allow her beauty to really shine through. She is a very sweet little dog and we would love her to be able to go to her new home soon. Therefore we are sending out an urgent appeal to raise money for an operation for a dear little Chow Chow dog who is currently in the care of Danaher Animal Home in Essex. Please could you give generously so Honey can receive the medical care that she so desperately needs for her hip and then she can look forward to a healthy, happy new year in her new home. Our resident Spitz breed specialist has worked so hard to find Honey a loving home and has succeeded in finding the perfect new owners for her, so hopes people give generously to enable Honey to get into her new loving forever home. It would break our hearts to lose her, she's already been through so much. It is such a tragedy that this has happened, just as things were looking up for Honey, so we sincerely hope the public will donate generously and help us save this special little dog.
