About HOLY FAMILY HOME-SCHOOL ASSOCIATION

The purpose of the Home School Association is to support our school through the organisation of volunteers; to raise funds for specific goals chosen by the HSA; which are not normally funded by the local education authority.

Funds raised may be used to ...

help fund the DARE project which educate children about the dangers of the misuse of drugs, including alcohol and tobacco, and to provide them with the skills to avoid violence throughout their school years at both primary and secondary level. Other project funded by the HSA is the Spiritual Garden which is be used by classes throughout the Church's calendar year for liturgies and personal reflections. This year, the HSA's main goal was to help fund the development of the outside area in the foundation unit.

TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS OF THE SCHOOL BY PROVIDING AND ASSISTING IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR EDUCATION AT THE SCHOOL (NOT NORMALLY PROVIDED BY THE LOCAL EDUCATION AUTHORITY) AND AS AN ANCILLARY THERETO AND IN FURTHERANCE OF THIS OBJECT THE ASSOCIATION MAY: (A) FOSTER MORE EXTENDED RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN THE STAFF, PARENS AND OTHERS ASSOCIATED WITH THE SCHOOL; AND (B) ENGAGE IN ACTIVITIES WHICH SUPPORT THE SCHOOL AND ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF THE PUPILS ATTENDING IT.
