The Foundation makes grants to many Charities throughout the County to help them to tackle specific activities or projects. We also manage funds for people and organisations wanting to support local causes.
Our four main areas of grantmaking are:
Disadvantaged children and families Access to education, training and employment Activities and opportunities for young people The quality of life of older people
The Foundation has more than 15 years experience in delivering grants and is governed by a Board of Trustees drawn from across the County, with a wide range of backgrounds, experience and skills.
